Digital Skills for Defence (DS4D)

The Digital Skills for Defence programme is forging a path to create the right culture and environment to enable all of us, regulars, reservists and civilians, to advance our digital skills.

    What is it for?

An exciting programme to transform the way we develop digital skills across Defence. It is aimed at upskilling leaders, digital professionals and the whole workforce.

DS4D will equip people working in defence with the right digital skills by creating a digital growth mindset to drive and accelerate digital improvement. It will help to cultivate an adaptable workforce ready to meet the demands of the digital age.

    What do I get?

11,000+ people have already been given the opportunity to complete basic digital skills assessments.

22,000+ people have accessed the soft skills enterprise which allows them cutting edge digital skills education.

Defence is working in partnership with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft and British Aerospace.

    How do I access it?

We are working incredibly hard with colleagues across Defence to trial a minimum viable product (MVP) of a transformed user experience and digital skills learning offer. This resource can be easily accessed via the My Digital Skills desktop shortcut that has been applied to all MODNET desktops.
