If you have a charity or organisation that’s close to your heart, you can maximise the impact of your support by donating through the Payroll Giving Scheme.

All civil servants.
Payroll Giving is a smart and easy way to give to causes you care about. It allows you to donate, tax-free, direct from your pay each month to any UK registered charity. This means you can maximise the difference you make, as no tax is deducted and the money goes straight to your chosen charity. It also makes charitable donations simpler, as you don't need to use Gift Aid or make any entry on your tax return.
The MOD Civilian Payroll Giving Scheme, for employees in MOD Main, DE&S and SDA, is administered by Charities Trust, via our benefits partner Edenred. This makes it even easier to sign up and manage your donations online.
Please note: If you work in Dstl, please contact your Employee Experience Team for details of how to sign up to your Payroll Giving scheme. Other colleagues should follow the instructions below.

Please ensure you sign up during this window. For example, to make your first donation in October, you should sign up between 22nd September and 10th October.
Your donations will be deducted from your pay each month. You can cancel your membership to the scheme or amend your donation amounts by logging into your mylifestyle account.
